Armed with a BA in Psychology I started my corporate america journey in 1992 in the field of technology with a focus in the domains of databases, data engineering and DevSecOps. I always enjoy learning new things and what I love about technology is that it is ever evolving and changing. While I mostly do not enjoy the culture of the corporate world, it has afforded me some amazing opportunities to travel the world and learn new things. Late in my career I became whats called a sales engineer.

My responsibility was to support the sales process by answering the customers technical questions about the products being sold and support them in validating the technology would work in the context they wanted to apply it for their business. This was by far my most favorite role I had performed in my corporate career. It also kicked off my journey in needs based selling.

Just over ten years ago, I discovered my passion for art—contemporary art, to be precise. I took my first clay hand-building workshop at a local community art school, and it was like discovering a language of joy I did not know existed. That experience led me down a creative path, and before long, I yearned to share my artwork with the world online.

Every vacation became a pilgrimage to seek out inspiring art or master a new technique in a workshop at an exotic destination. This was the beginning of me finding my Sweet Spot.

My curiosity fueled my quest for the ultimate Sweet Spot—the perfect blend of always learning, travel, cultural encounters, and experiencing diverse cuisines, while exploring the art in the area. Why chain myself to a desk for a 45-50 hour grind weekly when I could cut it down to a liberating 15-20? Urban hustle? Not my scene. But cultural diversity, I do love city living.

Imagine the freedom of working from the comfort of home or a destination yet to be discovered. That's the dream I'm crafting—my Sweet Spot.

Across my professional journey, I've been blessed with incredible teammates and the privilege of being part of powerhouse teams—forces of nature that could conquer any challenge. Sure, there were those with whom I didn't quite click, teams I weathered out of managerial obligation. While we achieved our goals, the process lacked that spark of magic found in true synergy.
